Frozen Wild

Collection: Frozen Wild

Our Frozen Mushrooms are wild foraged (USA) and blast-frozen at peak freshness to lock in flavor, texture, and nutrients. This allows chefs to enjoy seasonal treasures year-round without sacrificing quality. Each is cleaned, prepped (sliced or cubed as noted), then flash-frozen (-18 °C or lower) within hours of harvest to preserve its character. Frozen mushrooms offer convenience (minimal prep and reducedwaste) and consistency in cost and supply, making them ideal for high-volume kitchens and off-season menu stability.

  • Usage Tips: For best results, do not thaw before cooking – sauté or simmer from frozen. Tossing frozen mushrooms directly into a hot pan allows them to release water and then caramelize nicely. Avoid using frozen mushrooms in dishes where a crisp texture is needed (e.g., raw salads or flash-fried garnishes), as freezing can soften them . Instead, use in cooked applications like sauces, soups, stews, or sautés where their concentrated flavors can infuse the dish.
  • Shelf Life: Stored properly, frozen mushrooms maintain quality for many months. Keep at 0 °F (-18 °C) or below. Once opened, keep sealed to prevent freezer burn.
